● All new clients must complete a consultation before booking a service.
● Please arrive on time for your appointment.
● Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to be rescheduled.
● A booking is not considered confirmed until any required consultation fee, retainer fee, or deposit has been received.
● Consultation fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
● A consultation does not guarantee acceptance as a client.
● Sisterlocks consultations include tester locs and a personalized assessment.
● Transfer clients must complete a consultation before booking maintenance services.
● Retightening appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 7 days’ notice.
● Requests made with less than 7 days’ notice may result in forfeiture of any fees paid.
● Establishment appointments must be rescheduled with a minimum of 14 days’ notice.
● Requests made with less than 14 days’ notice may result in forfeiture of fees paid and loss of the reserved appointment date.
● The $100 establishment retainer fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
● Clients who fail to attend their appointment without notice will forfeit all fees paid.
● Hair must be clean, thoroughly detangled, and free from oils, creams, conditioners, edge control, and other products.
● Do not blow-dry your hair unless specifically instructed to do so.
● Failure to follow preparation instructions may result in appointment cancellation, rescheduling, additional charges, or reduced service time.
● Regular maintenance is essential for the health and longevity of your locs.
● Clients booking beyond their recommended maintenance window will be charged according to the applicable overdue retightening rate.
● Repairs requiring additional time will be billed separately.
● To ensure a comfortable and productive appointment, please do not bring additional guests unless previously discussed.
● Children who are not receiving a service should not accompany client to their appointment
● Consultation fees, retainer fees, deposits, and completed services are non-refundable and non-transferable.
● No refunds will be issued for services rendered.
● Photos and videos may be taken for educational, marketing, and promotional purposes.
● Clients who do not wish to be photographed or recorded must notify Locs By Bumarly before their appointment.
● Locs By Bumarly reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service where necessary to maintain professional standards, protect the integrity of a client’s hair, or uphold business policies.
